Mission Statement
The Capital Area Council of Churches is an ecumenical fellowship of Christian churches standing in witness to the Gospel of Christ through shared worship and service.
Vision
We will live in a community filled with thriving congregations who participate in service and worship with and for the Capital Region.
Doing together what we cannot do alone, we fulfill our Mission by:
- Standing in solidarity with the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized
- Advocating for Human Rights
- Meeting the spiritual and physical needs of all people
We will accomplish our Mission with the help of:
- Our member churches
- Community Leaders
- Our Interfaith Partners
- Other not-for profits
