 The Effective Compassion training encourages participants to move beyond models of aid that unintentionally foster dependency and toward approaches that empower individuals and strengthen communities. Through practical insights and real-world examples, Hernandez explores principles such as dignity-based outreach, reciprocity in service, and locally driven solutions that cultivate long-term flourishing. This thought-provoking event will be of particular interest to those engaged in ministry, social service, education, and community development who seek a deeper and more sustainable vision of compassion in action. Drawing on years of experience in community work and faith-based outreach, Ismael Hernandez challenges the prevailing model of charity and offers a more effective approach rooted in dignity, responsibility, and personal transformation.
