About the CROP Walk

CROP stands for “Communities Respond to Overcome Poverty”. The John U. Miller CROP Hunger Walk occurs each year on the first Sunday in May. Congregations throughout Albany County join together in an effort to end hunger, one step at a time. The John U. Miller CROP Walk is one of seven walks that occur in the Capital Region. 75% of CROP Walk proceeds are used by Church World Service for global hunger relief. The remaining 25% of proceeds are donated to local feeding programs.
